This policy explains what Back9Ops emails are sent, who receives them, and how we handle delivery quality and complaints.

Transactional email only

Back9Ops sends transactional email only. We do not send unrelated third-party marketing messages.

  • Account verification
  • Password reset
  • Registration confirmations
  • Pairings and tee times
  • Scoring updates and leaderboard updates
  • Event-related administrative messages

Who receives Back9Ops email

Recipients are limited to users who are directly involved with platform operations:

  • Self-registered users
  • Participants added by authorized course, league, or tournament administrators
  • People who request access through Back9Ops forms

List sourcing and prohibited practices

  • Back9Ops does not buy, rent, scrape, or import third-party marketing lists.
  • Back9Ops does not send unrelated third-party promotions.

Bounces, complaints, and suppression

  • Back9Ops monitors bounces and complaints.
  • Invalid or complaining recipients are suppressed from future non-essential sends.
  • Users can opt out of non-essential product updates.
  • Transactional event and account messages may still be required for service operation.
